Tired of buying coccyx cushions that go flat when you sit on them?

New product due to the popularity of my reflex foam cushions I have now extended the range to include reflex interior.

The purpose of a coccyx cushion is to help relieve back pain by promoting a better sitting position and relieving pressure on the coccyx this is achieved by the slope of the cushion, and the cut out around the coccyx area.

Many coccyx cushions on sale to-day are cheap imports, filled with very soft foam, usually grade 25, when you sit on them they go completely flat thus rendering the slope and cut out useless, it might just as well not be there at all.

Extra firm inserts

We have sold hundreds of extra firm inserts to customers who have bought one of these cushions and are using our insert in order to make the cushion do what it should have done in the first place.


Our new coccyx cushion

In response to many requests we are now manufacturing our own cushion to the same high quality specification as our range of wheelchair cushions, so you no longer need to buy a cushion elsewhere only to throw away the insert and replace it with one of our inserts.

Our covers are made to a much higher quality by using commercial grade seating vinyl, which will give you many years more service than the flimsy covers used for the cheap cushions.



More comfortable front edge

Instead of closing the cushion with a zip along the front edge we use hook and loop fastening on the underside giving a smooth front edge shown in the bottom picture for added comfort, this also allows for the fitting of a base board if extra support is needed, very useful for use in wheelchairs to counteract any sag in the wheelchair seat.
